THE REFORMATION PARTY

CANDIDATES FOR COUNCIL OF OFFICERS FOR THE 2016 CALENDAR YEAR TERM

The Reformation Party currently elects a 3-man Council of officers.  The registration and statement deadline for candidates who would be serving in the next calendar year is November 10 of the previous year.

The following voting members (in alphabetical order) offered to be candidates to serve on the Reformation Party’s 3-man Council (names and information are added as received from candidates) for 2016.  Candidates for the Council of Officers in previous years are shown at http://www.reformationparty.org/candidates2.htm .

I have appreciated the opportunity to serve on the Council of Officers during the 2012 through 2015 terms.  Most of my efforts in the 2015 term have focused at the local level, as an example of what others can do locally as well.  I have sought to promote Biblical Reformation in my own locality through the Campaign for Community Biblical Governance (http://www.reformationparty.org/campaign.htm).  I am also trying to show how one can run for local office, consistent with reformed Christian principles (see http://www.puritans.net/campaign/ ).

It is my view that, given current circumstances, many of the greatest opportunities to work for Biblical reformation exist at the local level.  Consequently, I view the Reformation Party primarily as a national and even international political enterprise to encourage local efforts for Biblical reformation.  If elected to serve on the Council for the 2016 term, some of the main projects then where I would like to continue to focus my efforts are the following:

While we live in a day of great rebellion against God, we can be thankful and hopeful in Jesus Christ.

I would welcome your comments and questions, as well as your prayers on behalf of the Party’s efforts.
